1. What cookies are
Cookies and similar technologies (such as browser local storage) are small files or data that the site or a third party stores on your device to remember information or measure use.
2. How we obtain consent
Google Analytics is not loaded until you click “Accept”. If you click “Reject” or leave without choosing, no analytics cookies are set. You can change your choice at any time via “Cookie settings” in the footer. The preference is stored in the browser’s local storage (4defops_cookie_consent), which is strictly necessary to remember your decision and does not require consent.
3. Cookies we use
| Name | Provider | Purpose | Duration | Type |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 4defops_cookie_consent | 4defops.com | Remember whether you accepted or rejected analytics | Until the user deletes it | Necessary (local storage) |
| _ga, _ga_* | Google Analytics (Google Ireland Limited) | Distinguish visitors and measure site use | Up to about 2 years / 1 year, depending on the cookie | Analytics (only with consent) |
Google may update names or durations. The table reflects the intended use of GA4. We do not use advertising cookies.
4. Recipients and transfers
If you accept analytics, Google processes the identifiers. Transfers outside the EEA may occur under the safeguards described in the privacy policy.
5. Managing cookies in the browser
In addition to the banner, you can delete or block cookies in your browser settings. Blocking necessary storage may prevent us from remembering your consent choice.
